@jacbutterfly77 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Please note that the only trackers that will let you control your music are the Surge and the Blaze. The Fitbit Alta does not includes that feature. 

 

However, the Fitbit Alta will allow you to receive text notifications as well as call and calendar notifications. To set them up and learn how to view them; follow the instructions on this post.
