How do I stop getting friend requests from what look like bots or just randomers I don't know

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced. Thank you for the information provided.

 

For instructions on how to report users or block them, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I block users in the Fitbit community?".

 

If you go to the online Dashboard at fitbit.com > Settings > Privacy > Personal Info > My Friends, there is a setting that allows you to keep your friends Private, visible to Friends Only or Public. If your friends have this setting as Public, other users will be able to see you as part of their list of friends and send you an invitation.

If you have posted content in Fitbit Community Groups (which is different than Fitbit Community Forum), any member of that group who sees your publication will be able to send you a friend request.
