How do I track exercise other than walking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I do yoga, HIIT, weight lifting, pilates, etc.  I don't walk or run for exercise. I want to track my exercise but it seems all I can track is waking or running under the "track exercise" icon. What am I missing?

TIA

Which tracker do you have?

I believe @amberN_garcia is actually using the Fitbit app and not a tracker.

If this is the case the active tracking (meaning pressing the play button) enable only GPS activies (run, walk, hike). To input another activity (such as yoga) you need to do it only afterwards inserting your activity data as "log previous".

I use the app on my phone and I have a Charge.

Yes, I'm using the app.

Where is the "log previous" button?

With the Charge, the way to track exercise right from the tracker without phone, is just hold in the side button until you see the stopwatch start; then press it again to stop.  The Charge does not allow you to differentiate the exercise type as you record it.

I was able to before when I had My Fitness Pal but I don't want to record
on multiple apps so I uninstalled My Fitness Pal thinking I could still
track my exercise on the fitbit app.

So, is my only option to re-install My Fitness Pal if I want to track my
exercise?
