How does Food plan works?

Okay, I really hope that someone can explain this because I am kind of frustrated and feel like I am missing something.

My Fitbit app food plan is set to a -750 calorie deficit. However, when looking at the food screen where it shows how much in vs out and the macros% circle my little in/out thing says I have 2161 out and 1475 in. Which would be a 686 deficit. It says under that that I have 51 calories left .. that makes no sense. If I were to have a 750 deficit at this point wouldn't I need to burn 64 calories? Not eat 51?

It's great to welcome you @BirgittaWild.

I just want to let you know that I have moved your post from the Blaze board to the Android app board, since here you will be able to find more topics about how the Fitbit app works.

Now about the food plan, I know that it might be a little bit hard to understand how this feature works, but I think that in this post, you will be able to find more explanation about it. Also, you can take a look at the How do I track my food with Fitbit? article for more information.

If you need anything else, let me know. Smiley Happy
