As I have not yet bought myself a fitbit tracker yet due to cost, when logging on to fitbit app I joined with phone tracking, unfortunately I accidentally deleted it. Please let me know how I go back to adding a tracking without a device thanks

Hi @BernadetteE.
If you accidentally deleted MobileTrack from the Fitbit app, here are the instructions:
If it was the Fitbit app you deleted, then go to the Google Play Store and download the Fitbit app. Once downloaded, you may have to log in with your Fitbit email address and password, then follow the instructions above to set up MobileTrack.
Please let us know how it goes.

I have done exactly what was mentioned above. When I signed up to fitbit app. As I Don't have tracking device I accepted by using Mobile tracking, but each time I go to join a challenge it asks me to choose a device. I am just about to close both account registration and forget about being with fitbit its frustrating me

Hi @BernadetteE. Looking at the Help Pages, I would say MobileTrack only supports tracking of basic activities (See below). If you want to participate in challenges, you need a Fitbit tracker. Sorry. You can always contact Support to be sure.
=====================================================
MobileTrack lets you use the Fitbit app without a Fitbit device by using your phone's sensors to track basic activity data including steps, distance, and calories burned. MobileTrack does not track floors, sleep, or active minutes. In addition to activity tracking, you also have access to other app features such as:

Hey @SunsetRunner and @BernadetteE.
@SunsetRunner Thanks for sharing that article. The help article about challenges does mention MobileTrack as a valid input for steps so it should work.
@BernadetteE Our team is aware of a situation where the steps on the Dashboard do not match the ones on the challenges. At this moment we do not have any solution or workaround on the matter but I'll be sure to post about it as soon as there are any updates.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can do for you.
