How to change to manual sync

I have looked through every possible thing on the App, and I can't figure out how to change it from all day continuous syncing, to only sync manually when I push the button to do so.

I know most people like the all day continuous syncing, but I don't need it.

Have looked through all help articles and haven't found any thing.

I have a Charge 3 that I bought just over a week ago.

I see people mentioning an "all day sync button" but I don't see anything like that anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @BethersK

You can't sync manually anymore. Fitbit removed that option.

Thank you.

I wish I could still stop the continuous sync, but thanks for helping with the answer that I couldn't find.

Hi, you still can switch the continuous sync off in the menu and the fb unit.

I only sync mine when I switch my bluetooth on and then open my Fitbit app and either scroll down or press 'sync' on the about page.

Not that I can sync atm as the bluetooth on the unit has broken - see elsewhere within my messages!

So that’s why the Fitbit app keeps draining my phone’s battery. I’m really not happy with this.

Is removing the app the only way to stop it?

You could turn off Bluetooth.  Then it can't sync.
