I did that, and all it does is default back to the old time.

Thank you for your reply, @Mrzocor.

I appreciate the additional information. Let me share with you that our team has recently released a new version of the Fitbit app which brings fixes to bugs and improvements. I'd recommend to download it once you see it available to see if that changes anything. You can update the app by following the steps at

Hello @jimp1966 and welcome to the Community.  This is an older thread and this is the web dashboard forum.  After reading the whole thread, the OP was having problems with the Android app, not the web dashboard.  Are you having problems with the web dashboard or the mobile app?

The sleep schedule cannot be changed in either the web dashboard or the mobile app on Android and I would assume it's not fixed on iOS either

only a remove and cancel button. Lol

@jimp1966   From time to time, my Fitbit can miss the start or end of my sleep by a few minutes.  I edit it on the web dashboard, because I like the larger screen.  I hover my cursor over the sleep tile > tap/click on See More > tap/click on a sleep record to see my sleep stages.  The is an Edit Sleep area on the right that works for me every time.  Your Android screenshot looks similar to my iOS screen when I tap on the gear icon and that 10:00 PM is your target bedtime.

This isn't the Edit Sleep page.  Tap on a sleep record to go to your sleep stages screen.  Tap on the ellipsis in the upper right of that screen (NOT the ellipsis in my screenshot).  There should be an Edit Log option on that page.

I'm moving this thread to the Android forum.  There is no problem editing sleep on the web dashboard.  This seems like an Android app problem if you can't edit your sleep on your Fitbit app.

Cannot set a time to start or end sleep on the schedule so that I know if I got my goals. I was able to do this at one time as you can see by my wake up time. But I tried to change my bedtime to start later and it removed the time and will not let me add it back now.

in short you cannot set the bed time or wake up time anymore. If I try to change my wake up time I will lose what I have in there. There's no button to save it just a remove or cancel. I am not talking about editing a daily sleep log. I am talking about changing the sleep schedule.

@jimp1966   The OP seems to be asking about editing sleep start/stop times for a specific sleep log, not their sleep goal. Setting or editing a sleep goal has never been part of the web dashboard.  I browsed the Android forum for older threads on your topic and don't find any.  Perhaps a fellow Android app user can help you.  I can't help you any further, because your app screens are different from mine and the iOS app sleep goal works correctly.

Hi @jimp1966

Sorry to see you're having trouble setting up your sleep schedule. I noticed there's a keyboard icon on your previous screenshot where it showed only Remove & Cancel button. When I click on the keyboard icon, it gives me a different screen that allows me to change the time. What do you see when you click on the keyboard icon?

Also, there was a recent update to the Andriod Fitbit app (June 16). Have you updated your Fitbit app? I had to go to the Google Playstore to download & install the update. If you haven't already installed the app update, try that and see if you're able to adjust your sleep schedule.

Keyboard is no different just lets you change the

Screenshot_20230627_165544.jpg

time in a different format; keyboard versus clock but still no way to save LOL let's give two ways to change but no way to save.

App is updated to the latest.

Changing the sleep schedule goals was available previously; obviously because I was able to input them at one point in time. However now the functionality does not work since you cannot change your sleep schedule.

Hi @jimp1966

Well drat. I was hoping that the keyboard icon would resolve the problem.

I've recently learned there have been issues with the Fitbit app syncing properly as well all sorts of other problems. Now I'm reading moderator responses that there was more than 1 version of the Fitbit app that was released in the PlayStore. Looking at the pinned announcement regarding the app update, it states the Jun 16 released app version is 3.83.1. However, the version on my phone is 3.84.1. With this new information, I suspect your problem with setting your sleep schedule might be because of the June app update. They were supposed to have resolved the problem over the last day or so. I'm hoping that your problem was fixed with whatever resolution they did.

If not, I guess one course of action would be to try uninstalling the Fitbit app and re-installing it, if you're up to dealing with getting your Fitbit set up again on your phone.
