How to: fix syncing problem on Android

My Moto X Pure running Android 6 stopped syncing with my Alta. I tried everything. Turning Bluetooth off and on, restarting the Alta, removing the Fitbit app and installing again.. nothing worked. Then I tried going to Bluetooth settings, "forgetting" the Alta, and enabling it again. Hey presto.

It's nice to see you around @Deltacat Woman Very Happy! Hmmm...I've checked the list of supported devices and it seems that your Moto X Pure is not included there. Would you mind double check it?

If it's not there, that's the reason why you are not able to sync your Alta. Fitbit is the first fitness device to offer Bluetooth Smart syncing with your Android device. Wireless sync has been a frequently requested feature from our Android users, so we've been eager to get support out as quickly as possible. While many Android devices have a Bluetooth 4.0 chip, not all devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App.

You can keep checking you can the list at a later date to see if device support has been added.

We appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience, and encourage you to let us know if you have any additional feedback on this and other features.

Have a great day!
