Please help just got new phone. No cannot get any notifications through to Fitbit apart from telephone calls?

You need to give permissions to the Fitbit app in order to receive text, calendar and apps notifications. I recommend you to check this help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? for more details on how to enable those notifications.

I did the following steps and all notifications were able to be shown on Fitbit
 

Go to -

Settings
Apps
Manage Apps
Fitbit
Ensure autostart is on
Battery Saver
No Restrictions
