Hi there,
I recently was trying to get my Fitbit and my mums working, neither of us could get our fitbits to sync to our apps so I tried to do hers on my phone to see if that would help anything. During the process, I accidentally moved my Fitbit account to her Google account and now can’t seem to move it over to my own google account. I’ve already chatted with someone on Twitter but they just sent me articles from the website that didn’t help. Nonetheless I tried all of the suggested moves and have been round and round the app several times.
I even deleted my account after reading another thread on here thinking it would just unlink it from the google account but I’m not sure what it did and when I logged back on my data is all messed up. Please can you help. I need to move it to my own google account from hers. So far customer service on chat and on Twitter have been of no help and have been telling me to try and change the email address associated with the Google account but surely that would just mess things up further as my mum still uses her Google account?
TIA

When deleting a fitbit account, you have 30 days to change your mind. The account will not be permanately deleated until the 30 days are up.
My thought would be to contact support.
In theory, you should be able to create a new fitbit account with your Google log in, but mom will have to wait for 30 days
