Agree! They deleted the most useful thing. This whole update is a huge step-back. I'm switching to a different brand if they don't bring back this widget.

It's hard to believe that you would not include a way to check the battery level of your watch on the new interface especially since it can't be checked on the watch itself. Booo!

Removing the battery use icon was a terrible change. I ran out of battery today unexpectedly.  It's like not hav8ng a gas gauge on your car!!!!

New App design is terrible. Additionally you can no longer compare your overall weekly progress. I used to see how much I could improve week to week but now you get the highest daily/weekly/monthly average for steps. It was nice to see my total steps per week. Not user friendly..

No. It sucks. The new interface has been greatly dummed down. Nothing has been made better and things that worked well and were great have been eliminated. The "powers that be" are idiots.

I agree, very frustrated!  Not happy!

You can't see it on the home page. I found it when I clicked on the device item. It no longer tells you what % or has an image. Mine says 'medium'. But my device says 75%? Weird to remove this from the app home page.

Apparently, we are only allowed to see whether our battery is high, medium, or low on the app now!! That's what the support team said. I think it's absolutely ridiculous!! Working in the development field, I know that the developers can do something to update the battery percentage so we can see where our battery is at through the app. I'm not going to just sit back and take no as an answer. I would like to know what Fitbit as a company is going to do to improve this feature.

Not sure there was much thought given to this new app - it is discouraging they did this without some kind of a trial

I do not like this new update whatsoever and it sounds like I'm not alone. I had no problem before they updated this app. Fitbit needs to revert back to the old version.

I agree with WEBIII, I had no problems with my fitbit until this update. Fitbit needs to revert back to the old version. I just purchased another Fitbit Charge 4 and do not like this updated dashboard on my android.  And from what I have been reading from others in this community of Fitbits the feeling is the same.  Can we revert back to old version?

Indeed.

Only recourse then be to remove your business to them, give it to competitor. Not thst removing battery percentage in and of itself is likely enough for most folks to leave (though perhaps some), but easily could be final straw.  I don't understand why would they would remove something so basic.  Maybe out of fear of (some justified) complaints over wonky charging percents shown (and easier to twke a screenshot than pocture of watch).. which has happened to some of mine intermittently but usually self-corrects e.g. % goes from 96 to 89 to 99.

Thank you. This is so frustrating not being able to see it anymore. I also do not like when im looking at the zones they are both a shade of blue hard to see. I liked hiw the old app was yellow and red you can see the difference.

Dummest upgrade ever! Who'd have thought it was good idea

I have to agree with you and the others totally.  The old App was layed out very well and gave you all the information you needed.  The new app took things away, especially the battery percentage for your watch, which is very important if you are going away on a few day fishing trip or getting away for a long weekend.  I could easily look and see if I needed to charge my watch for a bit before I left.  I click on the watch connection in the upper left on the home screen, click on my Charge 5 and the battery says full, when I know it's not full, it hasn't been charged in 3 days.

Where/what is device item?

Yes they do  I don't  understand  any of it.  Thinking of going back to my older watch Garmin and the Connect program.  I didn't  have to charge that one.  I loved it.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S23+ 5G, an AT&T 5G smartphone

Atleast down to 85% otneull claim "full", for my Sense. And up to 75+% for "Medium".  Also yesterday after syncing sometimes it would show thr _previous^ (e.g. from an hour ago) charge 'level'.   @RJWilson49
