I agree, hate the latest design. Don't like the new groupings. Should have kept the previous method of turning off what you don't want. I would like to see the battery status back on the home page. Almost ran out of battery life and the screen on the luxe is difficult to see the status.

Agree.  Don't like the regrouping. Liked the old way of turning offeach item you don't need. More difficult to find what I had before. What happened to the battery status. Need it for us "older" folks that can't always read the Luxe screen.

You can go to the watch, double tap and go up one screen to see the percentage left, but it is so small, I have to take a picture of it with my phone and zoom in on the picture. @Victamon

No, it no longer shows your watch battery charge percentage any longer.  @Jsheltmk23

I agree - I rely on the app as I find data on my Inspire 2 hard to read.

agree !  i've had mine go flat since new app isn't showing on the screen - annoying.

Very disappointed that the battery level indicator was removed.

Overall I am disappointed with the entire change.

I'm buying chargers 3 at a time because of the "pin" problem, so what with this, the charging icon and the rubbish look of the "update" I think I will be ditching Fitbit pretty soon.

Very frustrating. I have had a Fitbit since 2013. I rely on the battery % icon. This is a terrible change. I will look at different trackers that offers this feature.

Best Answer

Please share your findings. I will be changing also if this is the best Fitbit can do.

I agree and am equally frustrated. This was a “what were they thinking move”. Hope they restore

I guess I'm not allowed to post a photo... The icon at the upper left is an image of a phone with a fitbit tracker. Clicking that got me too a list of devices showing my charge 4 with a battery picture. How accurate it is, I have no clue.

My battery picture said full, but my watch had not been charged in 3 days, so I know it was not full.

I use to get an email to the email address on my Fitbit account when the watch battery was below I think 20%, so I think I will at least wait and see if that still happens before I charge my watch again and let it get below 15 to 20%

I agree! There is a battery percentage on the watch itself but you need magnifying glasses to see it! Frustrating!!

Nothing is more annoying than going for a workout and finding out your battery is dead 1/2 way through the workout.  I was on the fence about getting another brand because I liked the FitBit app.  This will be the feature that will push me in that direction.  Worst feature to remove ever.

Best Answer

That is very annoying that we can't see the battery %.

I need the app to show the battery status of my fitbit as I usually forget to charge it until it is too late.  There is no reason for it to not be included on this upgraded app which I honestly do not like.

I am going to sell my fitbit and buy something else by another company now.

New app is ridiculous.  My battery died in the middle of night. What is the point of taking the battery usage icon away?????

---

I'm done now too.

---

It is an ugly interface indeed.  The former version was perfect.

---

Same. I am done.

This app is the reason I will sell my fitbit and move on to another company. I am so upset.

Hello @mmruiz1976

The Fitbit team has already been notified about this omission. We are hoping that the % battery will re-instated in the app soon.
