My Fitbit does not show messages as it's not compatible with my phone which basically makes it pointless. Is this issue going to be resolved

We don't know what your phone is so no way of guessing what the problem is.

For instance is the Android version is too early, I would not expect compatibility to change.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
