Huawei Honor 7x not connecting- Fix

I was having the same issue as many with my honor 7x not connecting to my charge 2.  Another member stated they were able to get it to work by moving the phone and charge away from each other.  Many others said this didnt work but I was able to get it to.  I thought it would be beneficial to share my method.  1.  force close the app.

2.  set your screen to stay awake.  It takes time to connect and if your screen goes to sleep it will not work.

3.  Move the phone at least 10- 20 ft away from the fitbit.

4.  Open the App and follow the steps to connect the fitbit.  

5.  It took me a few tries but I was able to get it to say that it found the device.  Even after finding it it failed a few more times but eventually the fitbit gave me the connection code to put in the phone.  

Once it connected it has worked perfectly since.  Hope this helps others.

Hi there @SMenezes, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I was around and I noticed your post. after reading the workaround you have shared, I believed this will be very helpful for other users who might be experiencing similar issues. 

Thank you for your time in sharing your method, I will keep in ind your post if I come across with another user with issues connecting the Honor 7X to refer your suggestions.

it took me several tries at 8-20ft distance and i could see it finding it sometimes.  Once you get and enter the pin for syncing and it says connecting, just leave it alone.  Mine finished connecting after 10 minutes or so.. and my screen fell asleep once or twice during that part but it still completed the connection.  It works, but not perfectly. I'm not sure that i get live message or call notifications anymore.  my watch does not seem to sync on demand but it does sync the data a few times a day everyday, which is better than nothing and i can still change the silent alarms.  Good enough 🎉

My honor 7 wont sync with my charge 2. Anybody have a similar problem.

In addition to the solution above, I found that WiFi+ interferes with the synchronization. Turn it off if no other solution works. Go to settings, WiFi, WiFi+, switch off WiFi+. Hope this helps.
