Huawei Mate 20 Pro compatibility

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'd just like to flag that although my Charge 2 works with my Huawei Mate 20 Pro, there are a number of issues:

- It's considerably slower to sync than it was with my previous phones (iPhone 5 and Lumia 950)

- Text notifications don't work

- Call notifications don't work - but when I tried the 'test call notification' it took a solid minute to push through

I don't use the notifications anyway, so I'm not fussed, but the slow sync is very noticeable given that on a crappy iPhone 5 it was almost instantaneous.

Apologies if there is somewhere else this should have been posted.

Hello @TuckYeah.

Thanks for sharing those details and your experience with that phone.

This might be happening because the Mate 20 Pro is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing and these help for the notifications.

If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.

Thanks for sharing your experience on the matter.

In this case maybe you could post about it in our Feature Suggestions board. That way other users can comment and vote on the idea to show their support. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
