I can't find some settings in the Fitbit app

Well, the real problem is the fitbit app.  I have a hard time to find so many different menus where you can set up similar things and I am not sure what setting is doing in the end ... is it for the tracker? For an app on the tracker? For the Phone (health connect) , just for the Fitbit app? What setting in the Fitbit app is also routed to the tracker? etc. It's like searching a needle in a haystack and blind try and error. The menu on the tracker itself is pretty straight forward, but the smartphone app is a colourful bunch of squeezable ducks that might do something ... anything ... nothing ... somewhere. 🙃

I agree. UI for settings on the Android Fitbit app is a dogs breakfast. BTW: Let's throw that there are settings on the Android "Fitbit" app, Google's Android "Watch" app, Android phone "System Settings" and the actual Fitbit hardware itself.

The beautiful switcheroo is to be told "No, that's a Google problem go there." Or, "No, that's an Android system setting go there" Or, "No, that's on your Fitbit device" but then it doesn't do as expected.
