After reading far too many posts about issues with updating firmware, and my Dads Versa becoming unusable after he updated his firmware, I have decided, as my Charge 2 is doing everything correctly for me, that I'm not going to risk ruining it with a firmware update.
Problem is, every time I come to the home page of the app, or drag it down to sync, I get reminded about the update that's available, despite me having already closed the screen hogging nonsense several times in the last 5 minutes.
Can we have the ability to get rid of these altogether, or at least reduce the intrusiveness of these reminders?

I am so with you on this @PhotonB.
I too have a charge 2 which I have used since Christmas 2016. That last firmware killed so many that like you I don't want to risk mine.
I wouldn't mind if the reminder just popped up at the start of the day and once dismissed remained so to the following day. But every time you look at the home screen is ridiculous especially as the download symbol is shown by the manual synch.
Also as I am limited to using 3.4.1 version of the app there is little point in updating. I refuse to buy a new phone because fitbit moved the goalposts. An action they have taken twice so far in the life of my fitbit.
Thank goodness I don't get most of the premium ads as well, or I would be spending more time dismissing stuff than using the fitbit.
