Information on Fitbit app and computer app not matching

Thank you to the person who suggested I check Bluetooth. It was on and recognises my Flex as 'Fitbit base station'. So today the app on my phone shows me I've done 6,753 steps which is about right. The app on my new desktop says just over 1600 steps and claimed it was synced 47 seconds ago. I think not!

What to do other than uninstall it?

Hi there @TinyMo1, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm very sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your information to match on both your Fitbit app and on your computer.

From what you mention, it sounds like you have two different accounts and on one the information is coming from your phone and on the other one, the information is coming from your tracker because both will say that they have recently synced but the information doesn't match.

Assuming that, I will ask you to please, log out of both accounts on your phone and on your computer and then, log  back in with the same email address and password on both of them. That shoul be your main account. If you notice that your Flex doesn't show up there, you can proceed to set it up as a new device on your phone and it should automatically sync with your computer after that.

For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Hope this helps. Please, let me know if you need more help!

PS. I'm moving your post to the Android app board for categorization purposes.
