Inspire 2 won't update with Android app

Is anyone else having trouble getting this update? I checked with Fitbit and found it's supposed to take 24 hours(!) And you're supposed to leave the page open the whole time. That's hard to do when you also might need you phone for other things. And for some reason you can't do it on a desktop. Oh, yeah, you're supposed to have it charging the whole time. Any ideas how this might be accomplished?

@Elanme Welcome to the Community. @Odyssey13 Thanks for stopping by to help our members.

@Elanme Thanks for letting us know about your Inspire 2. Before anything else, let me clarify that the firmware updates may take up to an hour or more to complete. While you can use your phone during this process, it's recommended to leave the Fitbit app running in the background, this allows a small portion of the firmware update to download each time your tracker syncs.

That being said, please try reconnecting your tracker to the Fitbit app with the following steps:

  1. Forget your Inspire 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your tracker to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select your Inspire 2 > tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. When prompted, proceed to download the firmware update.
