I am using the Inpsire HR and have my phone with me all the time on my runs. I'm really new to using a fitbit so initially I would initiate the start of my run on my app and that tracked my GPS, however when I initiate the run on my Inspire HR it does not track my location when I want to review the data. Could someone please tell me if the only way to use GPS is by initiating the run on the app or is there some sort of glitch?

Hi @Daiso_One, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this and because your Inspire HR uses the connected-GPS feature, can you please let me know which phone are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this occurring with a specific activity or with all of them? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the steps that are specified on our help article: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device? and let me know if the issue persists.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Ricardo, I'm using a Samsung Note 10. I experienced this the first time I initiated my run/walk on my device. I noticed everytime I initiated my run/walk through my device there was no GPS tracking. As you can see in the screenshots below the difference. The one with the map is when I initiated the run/walk in the app and the one without the map and path taken is done via the device itself. I was under the impression when I got the tracker that it will always track the path I take..
I've tried restarting the device, and my phone and still it didn't resolve the issue.. I've also taken note of the conditions of the location I run and it is under clear skies when I start my run, its the same path as the the one I took in the image on the left when I activated the run in the app.
