Interrupting my phone all the time

How can I change the settings so my fitbit app doesn't interrupt my phone as I am doing anything, like facebook, dialing a call, or anything. It also is the first thing to come when I wake my phone. I want to bring it up when I want to see it, not have it come up all the time. I have sync all day off already.

Are you referring to "Fitbit notifications are running?" in the notifications area? If so, the only way to eliminate that is by turning them off. One of the fairly recent app updates introduced this and I don't like it either.
