Ionic disconnecting from Huawei P30 Pro

Hi all,

I got my Ionic on Saturday. Several times a day I open the App on the phone and the watch does not appear in devices list on the account page. I then have to add the watch by "set up a device" inputting the number from the watch to the app.

I lose all data from the time the app forgets the watch and the time I set it ad a new device.

I have restarted the watch and the app is the latest version.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Steve

Hi @SteveMar, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for your patience troubleshooting this matter before posting, I understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. To further assist you and understand your issue in a better way, can you please let me know if your Ionic is unpaired from your Fitbit account or from the Bluetooth settings of your Huawei P30 Pro? Is the Android version of your mobile device running the latest Android 10 version? How many times during the day you experience this? Lastly, do you use other Bluetooth devices that can cause interference between your phone and the Fitbit?

Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi,

The watch unpairs from my account.

I have Android 9 on my phone.

Just a Bluetooth speaker but I have not used this since I have had the phone.

It used to do it several times a day.

I may have fixed it, I live in China but am English. I have turned off automatic time zone and automatic location and have the location set as UK, it hasn't done it since, nearly 24 hours ago.

Thanks

Steve
