Ionic shares the data for two days, than disconnects. Even if connected, it doesnt upload the maps and distance of training. What should I do?

Hello @Kr_Br1, let me give you a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! It is possible your maps are not uploading due to the same reason your tracker is not syncing.

In this case your phone is compatible so I would recommend to follow  the suggestion from this post: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Give it a try a let me know how it goes.

Thank you for coming back. I tried the recommended solution twice and it
always helped for two days. The third one the syncing didn't work again. I
am sure if I do it today, it would help to synchronize the device, however
in three days I would have to do again.
Any other advice how to make it work?
I started to use Ionic three weeks ago and it worked perfectly including
the maps and distance monitoring, however with the update it colapsed.

Thanks in advance

Hello there @Kr_Br1. My apologies for the late response, I was reading your post that the issue repeat itself every three days. Perhaps the following suggestion helps now that you mentioned it happened after the update.

Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

I'm wondering if your tracker is still paired? I can see in your Community profile there is no tracker paired, so this raised the doubt in me.

See you until the next opportunity.

Dear Roberto,

thank you for your suggestion, you are right. The Ionic isnt paired since
yesterday, when there was new firmware released. Now nonthing works, it's
not possible to connect with mobile phone (two different androids ) as
well as Windows 10. Previously I could see at least some data, now its
completely lost.

I am already very disapointed, every new software release brings more
mistakes.

Any other suggestion?

Thank you in advance

Best Regards

Hi there @Kr_Br1, thank you for letting me know your tracker in fact is not paired. Have you tried to pair back your tracker? In this case we need to take care of this now , otherwise your tracker won't communicate at all with your phone.

Give it a try to the following steps in case you are not able to set up tracker:

Double-check your device is supported by the Fitbit app. For the latest list, go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices.

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again.
  3. Restart your tracker
  4. Try setting up your device again.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet (turn it off and then back on).
  6. Try setting up your device again.
  7. If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Keep me posted how it goes.
