My Ionic will not update after leaving the update running over night!! I check in the mornings and it looks as if it is still updating after 7 hours!!
Keep receiving clock error repeatedly, even after changing clock faces. I change the face and receive an error within a few hours
.
It no longer allows me to select exercises.
Help! About to try another brand after days of frustration.

Welcome to the Forums @Cajunkevin.
Thanks for letting us know that you have tried some troubleshooting with your Ionic before posting.
This all sounds very frustrating, so let me help you out. First I will move this thread to the Ionic board as I think it is better suited for it.
In regards to the firmware update, please try to follow these steps:
- Restart your watch.
- Remove the watch from the Fitbit app.
- "Forget" the watch from their phone's Bluetooth settings (along with any other Fitbit devices)
- Try to update again.
That should work to get the update to get through to the Ionic.
In regards to the other two issues, could you share more details on what exactly is happening? What is going on with the clock? What error are you getting? What happens when you try to select an exercise on the Fitbit?
Look forward to your reply.

When selecting the "exercise" app on my phone, I used to then select the exercise desired. Now, it simply goes back to the app choices. No choices of exercises show up.Thank you again!

Hello @Cajunkevin.
This could be happening because of the firmware update. I'd recommend that you try to complete the update and then try both of the other situation and see if that improves the situation in any way.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

Hello @Cajunkevin.
Thanks for letting me know.
Let's try the following with the Clock faces:
- From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon > your device image.
- Tap or click Clock Faces.
- Choose a new clock and then wait a few moments for your watch to update. The new clock face will appear on your screen.
On the exercise situation, could you check that you have activities added to the device? You can click here to see instructions on how to do that.
As for the update, do you have access to another phone or computer that you could try to run the update on? If so, please give it a shot.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.
