Is it true that custom foods can no longer be shared? Please tell me this is not true? It's the very reason I stopped using 'Fitbit' and why I recently bought another... because sharing foods was an advertised feature.
Help?
Cheers 😄

@MVMcKenna Welcome to the forums. Thanks for reaching out about custom foods on the Fitbit app.
I am very sorry but I do not understand what you mean with sharing custom foods. I usually log everything from the databank. You mean sharing your food logs and calorie count with the Fitbit community? So that people in a group can comment it and share? Or do you mean sharing your custom foods to another account so that they do not need to create them themselves? Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day!
Hi Rodrigo,
Thank you so much for replying.
Yes, I mean sharing your custom foods to another account so that they do not need to create them themselves.
Is this possible?
Many thanks
Mike 😄
I have been trying to establish the same thing, It would be very useful if they could be shared.
In the website version ('Edit my foods' menu) I can actually see a section for listing 'Shared Foods' but have not found a way to actually populate it!
Best AnswerCool! I wasn't imagining things! Yay!
It would be super good if you could share not only foods... but also recipes you've made.
I do hope the Fitbit people reinitiate this function... It sure would sell more Fitbits I reckon. 😉
