Is there an Android tablet that Fitbit supports?

As a windows user it appears FitBit has abandoned me. I cannot sync my tracker anymore. I do not want a smart watch. I do not really want to spend money so that I can sync my tracker. I am wondering, though if anyone has found a cheap tablet that will allow syncing a FitBit tracker. I am actually still using a Charge 2, but since syncing stopped working, the battery seems to be draining much faster and I get no e-mail notification it needs a charge.

@LZeeW Thanks for your help!

@jt_stl Nice to see you again in the forums. Thanks for reaching out about syncing your Charge 2 with an Android device.

The Fitbit app is compatible with most popular phones and tablets. To set up and use your Fitbit products and services, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running Android 9 or higher. See additional tips for Android phones and tablets. According to the results I found on the web, this tablet "Lenovo - Tab M7" runs on Android 9 and it does have Bluetooth. This means the tablet does meet the requirements (click here) to sync with a Fitbit device.

@jt_stl   I'm moving your post to the Android app forum.  I think it will improve your chances of getting an answer.  You can also search the forum for existing posts on the topic.

I got the Lenovo Tab M7 and was able to download the FitBit Android app (after creating a Google account). I was able to pair my Charge 2 and sync the data that was on it. I think the tablet goes to sleep after a while of inactivity. I need to open the FitBit app every so often to make sure I am synced up. That was not necessary with the Windows Connect app. The tablet is not on sale at the moment, the M8 is, but it is more expensive. I suspect it would work just as well as the M7.

@jt_stl Thanks for the reply. Note that Android devices will terminate apps that are running in the background and no longer used, to omptimize memory usage. I believe that is what is happening here. Most of the Android devices have now "batery save" settings, that will let you choose which apps should be left running in the background regardless of inactivity. By default most of the apps are set to be closed after some inactive time. Not sure if your tablet has those settings, but it would be worth to check for them. Hope this helps!
