I receive the following error message when trying to log in to the fitbit app on my new android phone: Error contacting Recaptcha. Please go back and try again!
I am logging in via fitbit account and typed in the email and password manually. Help would be much appreciated!!

I finally got it to work. I disconnected from WiFi and let it use the phone network to log in. I'm not sure if it was just coincidence but either way, it's now working. It makes NO sense.

I just bought a new phone for my son and he is having this same issue. It is a A35 and it is update to date on all software. Please fix issue he is not able to convert to using Google account because he is under 18. He is not able to sync his Fitbit because of this issue and crazy thing is he is able to use Fitbit on his old phone which is older please make it make sense.
