Hello @foofarley, it's nice to see you again in the Fitbit Community! As you know this new device has all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. I cannot say if is going to be compatible until then since as moderators we do not have this information.

Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for future updates!

Stay tune to the Fitbit Community!

Is the LG X charge compatible?  It's syncing, but I'm not receiving phone or text notifications.  I believe I've enabled all app and fitbit allowances that I can find..Just bought this phone, now I wish I didn't.

Hello @foofarley@KarenLeah, @KimberliM and @foofarley

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the matter.

The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users who can sync with non-compatible devices. If your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), you can try the tips on the following help article: Sync troubleshoot.

Note that we don't guarantee that the syncing would be will be successful as we are still testing on several phone models.

I have done everything in every article.  Waiting for the dongle to be delivered if it doesn't work I will be sending it back as it is still well within the return window.

Hello @KimberliM.

Thanks for letting me know that you are waiting for a dongle.

It should definitely work to get your Fitbit to sync and to get all of your information on your Dashboard.

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Welcome to the Forums @jamesi4s.

You can absolutely download the Fitbit app from the Play Store without any issues. It might have some issues and thus you can try the steps I linked to above, but we cannot guarantee that it will work.

Even then, you don't really lose much by trying to I'd say you give it a shot and download the app. Otherwise you can use a computer to sync your Fitbit.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I saw this post and it's a bit old, but apparently the LG X Charge is still not fully compatible (?).  Mine gets some stats, but has an issue connecting to Bluetooth.  Not sure how I manage to still get some information but not all.  I also am having issues now with it syncing when I try to manually sync it by pulling down on the main dashboard.  Can we please get this figured out??  I can't afford a new phone!! 😞  Is there some kind of work-around???

I no longer use my fitbit (was looking for a more feature rich tracker),
but, when I did I used it for over 8 months with this phone and it just
worked.
