Life of Fitbit watches

I have purchased every model of Fitbit products since they came out. The one common theme they all share is the life expectancy is only about a year. I have had to replace or purchase new products because mine was "just out of warranty". I absolutely love Fitbit and their products that they need to work to ensure that the products that we purchase last longer than a year. It's ridiculous and they would have far more customers if they would address these issues.

Since 2012 I have had to retire 2 fitbits the Ultra and One because Fitbit stopped supporting, both after several years where still working, and a third Fitbit recalled.

Of my other trackers, I have a big family that receives them.

My Charge and Charge HR only failed after several years because of band issues.

The 2 ionic, one at 6 years but yes we did replace both bands, (does anyone expect a rubber band to last more then a few years?) where retired because their replacements are a lot smaller.

The Charge 2, Charge 3, Charge 4, Versa lite, Versa 2, Inspire 2, and Ace are still working. The Versa earlier this year had the screen come off, a little glue and the help of a YouTube video, it still is working.

Mom lost the Flex 2 and the Blaze has failed because I let the battery stay dead to long.

I meet people everyday that love their 2-5 year old fitbits.

Yes I have had a few failures, some not Fitbit's fault with most trackers lasting 3+ years and a few are still going after 5
