Losing Data syncing multiple trackers

I apologize if this was asked recently.

I have a charge 2 and a flex 2. I normally wear my charge 2, but as I am on vacation I brought my flex 2 so I could wear it in the water. I synced the flex 2 after swimming and had over 4k steps. Once I was home and the charge 2 synced, it threw me back to 1k steps. I lost all the data from the flex 2. What's the deal? I thought multiple trackers would work together, but that's not happening,

@NatalieDrThis is always an issue and in that situation I would have synced the Charge 2 first with the Flex 2 turned off or out of range. Then reversed the process and synced the Flex 2 which would then have both on the same baseline for steps before you started your swimming.   Leave the Charge 2 switched off. Then when you come in from the swim, sync and then decide what will be your tracker for the rest of the day.

It's a pain and numerous times I have had this issue.  I was trying to get my One (always worn waking hours) to give me the benefit of the lost steps on my prime wrist type Fitbits over the last few years.

I would do some tests first for your normal day to day to see what works for you..

I did sync them separately, unfortunately it didn't help.
