I uploaded the latest version and the dashboard is missing Steps. It shows calories instead. I clicked edit but it doesn't show up.

Hello @Ammk365

Look to make sure you have the latest Fitbit App installed on your phone. If not update it. Also try logging out of the Fitbit App, turn your Bluetooth off, restarting your phone, turn your Bluetooth back on. then log back into the Fitbit app as you normally would with your email address and password.

😃 Hopefully that will help and provide you a solution to your current issue. Please come back and let me know how it went.

Hello again @Ammk365

Most of the times when your tracker is not longer paired it wont show any step or exercise information. That’s why I had you try turning your Bluetooth off and on again previously. So let’s try to set up your tracker as a new device on your existing account to see if that resolves the problem.

When you set up your Fitbit as a new device you won’t lose any of your data because it’s held on the Fitbit servers. You will however lose any data you might have accumulated after the last successful sync so make sure you try and sync your Fitbit before proceeding. (if your unable to sync it’s okay to proceed)

Let’s set you up again as a new device 😉 Works best if your Fitbit is fully charged

Here is how you set up your Fitbit again as a new device. Please follow these instructions carefully:

  1. Remove the Fitbit from the Bluetooth settings. (Since your on Android tap unpair) If your Fitbit is not showing on your Bluetooth at all proceed to step 2 (Basically make sure your Fitbit is not showing at all)
  2. Turn off other nearby Bluetooth connections.
  3. Check if your Fitbit App is updated and your phone is updated as well
  4. Log out of your  Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  5. Restart your Fitbit: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm
  6. Log back into your Fitbit app as you normally would with your email address and password, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Set Up a Device.
  7. Select the Fitbit type you have in the list and follow the onscreen instructions. When asked if you want to replace the Fitbit you have say yes.

😉Hopefully that gets you up and running again. Please come back and let me know how it goes.
