My app just updated, and whereas I was well over a monthly average of 16,000 steps per day for every month this year before the update, it's now at around 15,000 for 4 of the months. I know this may sound petty, but there were months where I was really struggling and my goal was to go over 16,000 so the last week I went out and did long walks and runs to get it over, all so I could make sure that ever month this year is over that figure. And that's what having a Fitbit is all about right? We're talking thousands of steps per day to lower it that much, and in assuming I will never get that back. I really hope this is a bug and fixes, but if not I'm absolutely gutted. Would never trust Fitbit ever again.
