Hello @Claireee, welcome aboard to our Community!

About the change of the username we recently removed the "Nickname" field from the Profile Settings, reason now why you are not able to see the "username". This is not a bug, and is aimed at improving the way customers interact using social tools on Fitbit platforms.

You still can change the name to a different if you don't want your name publicly. When you are in your personal information settings you can choose any name you want without the need to use your first and last name. Using the app to change your name is possible too. You need to access to your Account tab > Advanced Settings > Edit your profile > Change your name and Save for this changes take place.

About your step goal, this certainly is not an expected behavior, since your steps goal should match across the mobile app and the online Dashboard since the information is the same. I wonder if you made any change on your steps goal? Beginning of January the app has a review of your goal based on your daily average recommending to increase your goals. Perhaps did you try this review of your goals?

But I'm just guessing so either way this is nothing we cannot fix. Go back to your app and select the Account Tab >  scroll to your goals section and tap Activity > Change your step goal here and this change should be reflected also on your Online Dashboard.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around if you need more help.
