MobileRun GPS broken in new release

I've been using MobileRun for well over 100 walks and runs, and it was always fine. Maps agreed with my actual routes, times were accurate. Yesterday my Android phone got the latest update of the Fitbit app with the new washed-out icon. Today I tried five different times to get accurate mappings and times, and all five times the app scored a big fat ZERO. The tracks all stopped after less than a half-mile, and looked like I had taken a drunken streak through the neighborhood, magically walking through the walls and across the water of neighbors' homes and pools. It reported one one-mile walk that I've done repeatedly at less than 20 minutes as a .44 mile walk with a pace of 45 minutes per mile.

I've confirmed that it's not my phone, using two other apps that work fine with the GPS, including Google Maps. Yes, I've logged in and out, restarted the phone, checked the Bluetooth, ad nauseum.

Update: Over the last two days I've managed to get two halfway-decent MobileRun tracks, with most of my attempts going up in smoke as described above. Meanwhile, I've been using my Android with Google Maps, Geocaching, MapMyWalk, and Endomondo, and getting accurate tracks with all of those applications.

Also, I downloaded GPS Status and Toolbox (a recommendation on the Endomondo site) and flushed out all the old GPS data last night. I'll give MobileRun another try this morning and see if that helped.
