Since last samsung s7 update the track i run each day has become shorter according the fitbit app. The track is already years the same but it becomes shorter and shorter. The edges on the map are not square anymore. It seems that the communication between the s7 gps and the fitbit app is not working correct. Google navigation works fine so my conclusion is that its the fitbit APP.

LOL. I love how you worded this! Same track but runs are shorter. Glad that's not just happening to me. Walk my dog every day in the same place same distance and it varies significantly from one day to the next.
Thanks for your post.

Hello @teus1950 and @GSDMOM4 good to see you here. I have moved your post to an individual thread as it seem the issue you are experiencing is different from the other topic: MobileRun missing data after pausing - Android 2.43+.
I was reading your map course is not accurate and it vary every day. In this case I believed is more an accuracy issue with the GPS than a glitch in the app.
Accurate can be affected by the environment you are in due to the signal strength of GPS. For example, if you are running in an urban environment with many tall buildings, it may take your GPS several seconds to get a fix.
- Make sure your phone can track your activity when you're out of Wi-Fi range, usually by making sure Cellular Data is turned on.
- Make sure GPS can continue tracking while your phone is locked.
- Make sure your phone can identify your location, usually by enabling Location Services within your privacy settings. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the + icon.
These are some tips you can try to improve the accuracy of the GPS. @tabannis mentioned something quite some time ago that is one of the causes of this issue too. Perhaps you'll find more information here.
If you are having troubles also with the maps are not saving due to the glitch in the Fitbit app. Take a look to the post I mentioned earlier for the most recent update.
See you around and thank you for all your patience.

When i use google maps the location is fine and also the accuracy , but the
fitbit app has problems since the last android update. To night i am going
to install the most recent Samsung software update on my s7 so may be
tomorrow the problem is solved ?! When it is solved i will report that.
regards Teus
