My Alta won't get notifications from LG G5

It's disappointing to find out after purchasing my Alta that I can't get message or call notifications because my phone isn't on the list of compatible devices. Can the LG G5 not be added to the list? I've seen a lot of other people ask about it.

Welcome to the Forums @Mcdondaa.

 

As you mentioned the LG G5 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.

 

As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the notifications.

 

As for adding the phone, we do not have any details of when we could expect that to happen. Maybe you could vote or comment on this idea to add that phone to the list, it would be a great way to make your voice heard. Be sure to read the FAQ if you have any questions on how that board works.
