My Fitbit app in Android will not login to my google account - get a "something went wrong" screen

My sense2 that I've had for more than a year was not syncing with my phone this morning.  I rebooted my watch.  I rebooted my phone.  I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app.  Now I can't even get past the login screen.  When I try to select my google account on the login screen it just takes me to a blank white screen that says "something went wrong".  If I click the "sign in with Fitbit" button I get a sign in screen, but I don't want to create another account

Having the same issue as of this morning.  Unable to login to app using Google acct

Same thing happened to me cant login. Fitbit inspire 3 refused to sync so followed instructions downloaded new app and restarted fitbit.

I am having the very same issue this morning. Followed all the instructions, and uninstalled the Fitbit app and now can't log back in.

Same issue here!  No sync - uninstalled app - now can not log in with Google account "Something Went Wrong. Please try again."

Am able to login on website...

App stopped syncing about 3 hours ago...

I had the same issue earlier; reinstalled the app to try to get my new Charge 6 connected and then couldn't login via Google account. I tried a few times over the course of an hour and then about 20 minutes ago it let me in. I had disabled wifi on my phone at that point as I found an old thread that claimed that helped. I can't confirm either way if that was something that helped, or if I just got lucky.

Eventually managed to login using my google account. But inspire 3 refuses to connect to bluetooth on my phone. My Phone recognises the fitbit but unable to connect..

Someone else said it's working now.  i just tried and mine finally worked again and I could login

Did u just click sign in with google button and it logged in? Mine is still saying something went wrong

@Michellemcf1984 have you tried restarting your phone? That may help clear that old message.

Eventually managed to login via google and sync my Inpire 3. Another 2 hours of my life wasted. 

Good luck to everybody else after i managed to login just kept trying to sync, turning bluetooth on/off restarting phone etc. Shouldnt be this difficult!!
