My Fitbit no longer vibrates to alert me of notifications

Since the dashboard was updated my Fitbit doesn't vibrate to notify me of calls or messages. I cannot find the notifications settings to check these. Ive read advice which says to press the "Today" button but nothing happens when I do this! All advice gratefully received.
