Charge 5 - the battery is only lasting 6 hours. It just started 4 days ago. It worked fine for 6 months. How can this be fixed?

Is it possible you turned on the GPS function on your Charge 5? If it is always on, your watch will only retain charge about that long. (According to Fitbit).

Same has happened to my Charge 5... There was a firmware update and since then my battery drains in a few hours. I have only had it since this past Christmas. Got it as a gift. I am really upset and disappointed over this. GPS has nothing to do with it.

This is happening to me too. I have called fitbit support 4 times. They are not helpful. This product is now totally worthless. Time for a garmin?

I turned everything off and it's still draining the battery in 8 hours or less
