I'm on my FOURTH Fitbit in a little over a year. They keep dying. The battery suddenly won't keep a charge and it stops syncing at all so that the Bluetooth won't even pick up the band. It's so frustrating.
And now that it's been more than a year, they won't replace it, even though the product is clearly defective. I'm amazed that Fitbit has such market domination when their products are just trash.
Has anyone else had similar problems? I'm so fed up with these things! Anyone know a different tracker that's better quality?

And the support live chat person - "Rommel" - just ghosted me when I asked why this keeps happening.
Stellar customer service there, Fitbit.

I'm on seven in less than 3 years. This one 4 months, two weeks. They will replace this one free, since it's so new. Mostly they wear out right past warranty and you get a 25% coupon.
Wish I knew why they don't work. New wrinkle, this one kept losing time. Got 35 minutes slow or so per day. Reset got it back, but last night just died. No reset, no charge. I'm an older person, not rough on them. Walk close to 50 miles a week. I think I have a magnetic charge in me or something.!!!

Yessss same here im on my 5th fitbit in less than 2 years. The Blaze fibit watch was the last dependable fitbit watch I purchased after that I purchased the Versa twice and now I'm on my 2nd fitbit charge 3 that one just gave out on me because of the same problem it just stopped working 1st the charge starts to get shorter and shorter then the screen gets dimmer then it finally it just won't charge anymore. I want to believe in this company but they need to make some changes w/these products this is the last fitbit I will purchase

Fitbit Messenger customer service has ghosted not only myself but my friend as well. On July 1 Saturday over 2 weeks ago I sent a message to Fitbit customer service using Facebook Messenger, but they never responded so I then sent a message on Twitter to, and they also failed to respond to me. I contacted chat support to ask why they did not respond to me and they said it was because they've got a lot of people contacting them right now. But this is a lie because I had a friend contact them pretending to be a new potential customer asking about what Fitbit device he should buy. They responded right away on the same day within minutes. My friend actually had a conversation with them where they asked for my contact information which he gave to them, and they promised to respond to me on Messenger. However they did not respond to me and still never have. So my friend contacted them again and specifically told them that all I wanted was a response sent to me on Messenger. When they responded back they claimed that they had contacted me and spoken with me via chat. My friend told them that I only contacted them using chat because they failed to respond on Messenger and once again, he told them that I wanted a response on Messenger. He also told me that they used the wrong pro noun to refer to me and once again he told Fitbit that I wanted a response sent Messenger. Now they have ghosted him as well
