Sense recently updated my Pandora, but my favorite stations have been replaced. Why is that?

In fact, it did another update this morning, and now there is only 1 station on Pandora - Thumbprint Radio, which I've never listened to. What became of my Favorites??

Gosh @JayCat I’m sorry to see your Pandora stations disappeared. That would certainly bum me out as well. I did notice in your post that you did an update of your Pandora (not the Fitbit App) or a Fitbit Travker firmware update. Have you been in touch with the support team at Pandora to address this issue? Since the update was indeed theirs maybe they might have an answer for you. The Fitbit help page on Fitbit in reference to pandora says:

If you no longer see your stations on your watch, it may be because your Pandora subscription expired, you exceeded your limit of offline devices, or due to another problem with your Pandora account. For more information about your account, see help.pandora.com.

I did find this on the Pandora website which might help:

Offline Troubleshooting

  1. Check the storage availability on your Fitbit.
  2. If you've already added your personal music collection to your Fitbit, there might not be enough space for Pandora to download all of your offline content.
  3. Re-sync your Fitbit to see if that helps.

To do this:

  1. Disconnect your Fitbit from any Bluetooth connections, and make sure it's hooked up to Wi-Fi.
  2. Return your Fitbit to the charger, and make sure it's seated properly.
  3. Open the Fitbit app on your mobile phone, and click on Music and then Pandora.
  4. Select which content you want to auto-sync to your device: your top Pandora stations, or your favorite workout stations. This should restart the download process.

😃I would reach out to Pandora. I hope my answer points you in the right direction. Please let me know

Hi MegaBite, and thank you for taking the time....

  • The issue here is not with Pandora. The issue is that my Fitbit Sense has updated my Pandora, but removed my favorite Pandora stations.
  • However, I will review the steps you've provided under "To do this". Stay tuned

😃Thanks for the update @JayCat  I’m crossing my fingers that things go well. Keep in mind Thumbprint Radio is downloaded to your watch automatically and can’t be removed without unlinking your Pandora account from your Fitbit watch, which will delete all Pandora stations from your watch.

I recharge my Fitbit Sense every morning. Sometimes, while charging, my
favorite Pandora stations get updated with music that I have been
listening to. However, for the last 3 mornings, my Pandora has been getting
updated, seemingly for no reason, and my favorite Pandora stations are no
longer available on my watch.

Could there be a bug in the Fitbit app?

Hello again @JayCat

It quite possible there is a current bug and I’m completely unaware of it. You can contact fitbit customer service to see if they can clarify the possibly of one existing. Here is their contact information:  https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US I find calling them directly or live chat as the best option to communicate.
In the meantime I’d check to make sure you are running the latest Fitbit App version as well as the latest firmware update for your Fitbit Sense. You can check that by opening your Fitbit app, tap your profile picture then scroll down to and tap Help & Support. Now scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap “Check for a Sense Update”

Durring charging, your tracker turns on its WiFi, and if it connects to your network, the tracker will check for any app updates, and update. Pandora will also try to update your stations.

Fitbit doesn't let us choose the stations but tries to figure out the top stations the user listens to. This might be why the stations changed.

Hello, and thank you for tuning in 😉

I charge my Fitbit Sense daily. For the past week, it's been updating my
Pandora with each charge. My favorite stations have been replaced with
stations that I never listen to.

At this point, I'm not sure why this is happening. I've TALKED with Fitbit
support. They told me that this might be an issue with Pandora, but the
jury is still out on that, I guess.
