My fit bit is racking up steps and climbs while am driving

When I am driving my car my Fitbit is counting up the steps and climb. How can I stop it from doing this please.

Yep me too.  I recorded 90 flights of stairs when driving my tiller steer boat the other day.  That is ridiculous!

When I asked Fitbit customer service they just told me to log it and it will remove the steps etc....
