My fitbit won't sync

One night I was walking home when I got home I tried to sync my FitBit and nothing happened. I noticed it was a little after midnight and I couldn't get it to sync the previous day. Since then I can't get my FitBit to Sync. I'm walking I just can't Sync, how can I reset my FitBit.

 

Also I'm getting a new FitBit for Christmas and I would to get this problem solved before I set up my new FitBit.

Hello @spotdave, thank you for joining to our Fitbit Community! My first recommendation is to review if your app is updated to the latest version of the Fitbit app on Android. To the date of this post the last version is 2.63.

 

To see what version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device:

  1. Tap the menu button.
  2. Tap Help.
  3. Tap Fitbit App.

Regardless if you are running the latest version of the app, perhaps the following thread will offer you more help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

 

I'm sure this might help you to get back on track before you get your new Fitbit.

It's working now. Just one thing I got myself a new fitbit charger2 and it wasn't for my son I would not have been able to set it up since there was little info telling me how to do it.  Please keep in mind that there are a lot of people who would like to use your product and may have purchase one but the instructions are the worse, we need a clear and simple step by step plan. Twenty years ago I could deal with my phone and my computer however, it is just not that way now and the people who could really use your product just can't set it up, not unless you know a young person who is willing to take the time to help you.
