I just got my new google pixel watch 2, I upgraded from the fitbit versa 2.
The problem I am experiencing is that my fitbit app shows a different step count than what I see on my watch. I sync them and it seems to work, no error messages, but the problem.persists.
Any ideas?
Best regards
I'm having similar frustrations. I'm most surprised that there isn't any significant acknowledgment of the issues here and a plan to fix them.
When the step counts/hourly achievements disagree and change over the course of sync attempts it has to be something that is logged in the apps and a known problem.
It's incredible because the total step count overall seems believable for me, but if you look at the bar chart of steps over the hours, the total is MUCH higher than the sum of the hours, and they come and go, but once an earlier hour is "zeroed" in that bar chart, it never seems to come back. So strange.
Hi, @LaloZetroc, welcome to the community, can you tell us the magnitude of the difference you see? There are a couple of articles on the subject of step count you might find of interest. I hope this is helpful.

AWAKE! for morning in the bowl of light has cast the stone that set the stars to flight.
Best AnswerIt was about 150 steps daily, however today the difference is 2,000+
Best AnswerHi, @LaloZetroc 150 steps is a modest figure, but 2,000 is not. Before you compare the PW2 with the app on your phone do you manually sync? The app should sync automatically each time it's opened but may not if it is continually on the display of your phone.
I hope this helps.
