HI,
I did not wear my Fitbit while going on a big walk today. I know it's silly, but I love getting the credit on my fitbit app. I know how to add exercise and I have followed advice on this forum to log the activity, and converted to distance to the exact steps on the desktop app on my Mac (my Samsung Health app in my phone picked up the activity and distance etc.). But I still cannot get the steps to add to my daily step goal, although they are listed in my activity. Is this even possible? I assume it is to prevent 'step fraud' that I have heard about, but I just wondered if there was a way. Thank you!!

It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community, @mackitty.
Thank you for the information provided.
If you are tracking your walks with the Fitbit app, your steps won't count towards challenges, Lifetime or Badges.
If you manually log a walk or record it with the Fitbit app, the steps should get added to your daily step goal.
In this case, I would recommend following these instructions to track your activities with MobileRun.
I moved this thread to Android App board because it is more related to the topic.
Hope this helps.
