I have multiple bluetooth devices that automatically, and immediately sync with my Note 5. Unfortunately, the Fitbit Surge isn't one of them. It's a constant circus of cycling bluetooth on the phone, rebooting the Surge. Rebooting the Note 5. It just doesn't make good sense that the sync shouldn't be a simple effort. I am surely doing something wrong, but I can't imagine what it is. Any clues would be graciously accepted.
