New phone doesn't show Luxe bluetooth connection

Hi. I've just purchased a new Pixel 6a and installed the Fitbit app on it. The watch is synching (at least for the moment), but it doesn't show up on the "connected devices" page in my phone. Should I pretend to change phones and start over again, thus (I suspect) loosing all of my data to date, or is there a better solution? Or perhaps this anomoly isn't important? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me!

Jill

@JillWB   I'm moving your post to the Android forum because you're have having trouble with a Pixel phone.  I'm an iPhone user, so I don't have specific help.
