New "cheered" bug boots me off challenge page.

The May 11, 2016 fitbit update has an annoying bug. If you cheer a comment in a challenge, and then accidentally cheer it again, or if you pressed "cheer" too long the 1st time, you get a message, "User has already cheered comment," & then you are automatically booted off the challenge page. Also, "cheered" now appears in the same turquoise color as "cheer" ; it no longer turns gray.

Welcome to the forums @Shlomo-T

Same thing with my Android app as well. I'm pretty sure one of the Fitbit moderators will see this and let their tech people know about it.

I thought I was getting overly enthusiastic and cheering, but since it's happening to you, it must be a glitch.

Keep on stepping!

@Shlomo-T @Odyssey13 Thanks for your feedback! I was able to recreate getting booted off of the Challenge page by clicking on cheer a bunch of times in succession, but to clarify, it didn't boot me out of participating in the Challenge. Did it do that to you? Either way, I've forwarded this information to our Product Specialist team who is looking into this. Thanks again for the feedback, totally appreciated!

Thanks. No, thankfully it doesn't boot me completely out of the challenge, just the challenge page. I can get back in, but it's still a nuisance.

And I appreciate how quickly you responded! 😀

@ErickFitbit if I go slow and tap cheer once, it takes several seconds for it to complete the cheer.

Thanks for taking good care of us!

@Shlomo-T @WendyB @Odyssey13 That's what I also experienced and provided as feedback to our Android team. Thanks for reporting this! When I hear of an update about this, I will make sure to pass it along to you all.

In the meantime, try not to double-tap on the "Cheer" button as it will boot you off the page. Thanks again for the reports!

They just put out a new update today that fixed the problem. 😀 Now if you tap cheer a second time, you can uncheer something. This can be very useful if you accidentally cheered something.

Unfortunately, the fix hasn't lasted. The app is booting me off the challenge page for double cheers again. And I am accidentally double cheering often because it takes so long for a cheer to show up.

@ErickFitbit Sorry to have to say this, but @Shlomo-T is right. It started acting up again.

I'm sure that Fitbit will work out this glitch.
