Fitbit has removed selections of clocks faces from all of their devices except their high end watches to force u to upgrade if u want to see the date, etc. Also if u have an older tracker they will stop supporting it pretty soon like the zip my husband have. Gave him my other charge HR that is new to use but it will not sync at all. We plan on going with the S Gear

@Bopsie with several subjects blended into one paragraph I'm having problems figuring out what help your asking for.
Fitbit still supports the Zip for syncing. The zip at one time was fitbits most popular model so I don't see support dropping it soon. Yes support has stopped for the Fitbit Uno a model that hasn't been manufactured in 7 years, can not sync through Bluetooth, any mobile device, the Fitbit app, or Fitbit connect.
