My watch vibrates but I no longer can see a text or phone call on my phone. Also - it does not alert me to move anymore. Please help!

Thanks for the details about notifications. If your watch is not receiving notifications anymore, you'll have to check your watch and phone's settings. I recommend you to check this help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? for troubleshooting steps.
On a side note, I moved your post to the Android board to keep the Community organized.

My new Luxe will not vibrate even though it's set on Strong. Sometimes it'll tell me I have a new message and sometimes it doesn't. When it does , it'll let me read it.

I appreciate the details about the vibration trouble. Is this happening with message notifications only or with any other notification (reminders to move, silent alarms, etc.)? I recommend you swipe down from the clock face on your Luxe and check that the DND and Sleep option are turned off.
